Found this one on craigslist: "Are you a player, coach or fan of the great sport of RUGBY (or participant sports like it), who also happens to be a terrific magazine or feature writer? Rugby Magazine, the authority on the sport in America, is in its 33rd year of publication and is looking for entertaining freelance wordsmiths as department or feature writers. There is also a possibility of contributing to the magazine’s companion website" See the posting here.

And this one also showed up on craigslist: "As the only lifestyle magazine dedicated to Newport, Rhode Island since 1993, Newport Life Magazine has showcased all that is unique about our City-by-the-Sea. If you are a freelance writer in the Southern New England area and want to write for us, send us your query." Pays: "per word pay rates competitive with other magazines our size."
