One problem beginning book reviewers encounter is this: Most magazines and newspapers want reviews of "new" books, but it can be challenging to figure out which books will still be "new" by the time one has queried for an assignment, read a review copy, and submitted the written review for editing and publication.
Well, here's one resource: Publishers Weekly's semiannual "announcements" issue, filled with information on forthcoming titles. And, depending on your review interests, don't miss the round-ups on new "green" books and on political tomes.
