The Wednesday Web Browser: New York Stories, Meena Alexander, and National Poetry Month

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, New York magazine compiles a list of "canonical" New York books.
One of the writers-who-teach whom I've had the privilege of meeting thanks to my day job is Meena Alexander, who was named a Guggenheim Fellow just last week and whom I have profiled here.
And finally, a nice National Poetry Month post from Oronte Churm.
