About Me
Erika Dreifus lives and writes in New York City. Her story collection, Quiet Americans, will be published in January 2011 by Last Light Studio Books. Erika is a contributing editor for The Writer magazine and an advisory board member for J Journal: New Writing on Justice, and she wrote the section on "Choosing a Low-Residency MFA Program in Creative Writing" for the second edition of Tom Kealey's Creative Writing MFA Handbook (Continuum, 2008). Thanks for your comment on my blog. I'm just catching up on reading yours--and all the rest that have slipped by in the last week.
I hadn't read Making Toast in the New Yorker but I heard his interview on Dianne Riehm. I just read the book in one night. I could NOT put it down. I cried and laught, mostly cried. It is a beautiful, beautiful book.

I love maya angelou she is one of my favourite writers. I read heart of a woman and I just love maya`s autobiographies,also I want to read her book I know why the caged bird sings.
